Blackberry Music Gateway and Phone Being Used

RIM is embracing the streaming market and is finally releasing an exclusive Blackberry peripheral dedicated to media streaming. Instead of keeping up this mysterious ruse, we’ll fill you in.

Today at the Blackberry Solutions Showcase, which is an individual event taking place during the Blackberry World Conference in Orlando, RIM unveiled the Blackberry Music Gateway.

The Blackberry Music Gateway will allow consumers to stream music wirelessly to a home or car stereo from a Blackberry Smartphone, Blackberry Playbook, or Bluetooth enabled device. RIM claims the Music Gateway is available from up to 30 feet away, including the control features.

iBamboo Speaker Dock Offers Endless Hours of iPhone Playback, Electricity Free

The iBamboo Eco-Friendly Speaker Dock

The iBamboo speaker is a pretty slick dock for the iPhone that uses no electricity. Of course, it’s simply a stock of bamboo that’s been uniquely carved to fit the bottom half of an iPhone.

It has us wondering why we didn’t think of something so brilliant on our own. Nevertheless the iBamboo speaker dock is eco-friendly and literally promises endless amounts of playback time- unless of course you decide to get violent (obviously the playback will be limited to the iPhone’s battery life).

Instead of listing all kinds of features, we’ll speak the honest truth- this is a real stock of bamboo and it’s going for $30 per piece. Still, it’s hard to argue the minimalist design and attractive body style- in fact, one could say all of those traits come naturally.

Logitech’s Ultrathin Keyboard Cover

Logitech Ultrathin iPad Cover

iPad keyboard covers are a dime a dozen, and there’s a reason for it. Tablets are not the best platform for typing long emails or for typing anything lengthy for that matter.

The sole reason for typing issues on the iPad can be credited to the touchscreen display, which is not always easy or convenient to type on. Naturally, there’s been a rise in iPad compatible keyboards on the mobile market, and they are all designed to increase typing speed on a touchscreen device. Unfortunately, very few of those portable keyboards match the stylish design of the iPad, and few of them are convenient. Most of the iPad covers that include an integrated keyboard are downright hideous.

The Solar Focus SolarKindle Cover

Songza Offers Subscription Free Jammin’ and Ad Free Groovin’ so You Can Keep Movin’

Songza Music App

Picking out music to fit your mood, activity or cocktail party can be a pain. Especially if you’re using traditional internet radio apps or websites like Pandora and Spotify- those pesky and seriously misplaced ads always interrupt the flow.

When we’re jammin’ out, riding the influential waves and melodies of the latest indie hits we don’t really want to be smacked down to reality by a silly ad for the latest Maserati- and we mean for reasons other than we could never afford one.

Luckily Songza is around to keep us groovin’ on the acidic trance of the latest Chillwave tunes.

The Songza music app is completely free and is also -you guessed it- completely devoid of audio advertisements as well. That means no pesky ads about the latest internet radio subscription service, and no pesky ads about the latest McDonald’s quarter pounder with special sauce.

Angry Birds Space Review [Insert Lame Fowl Joke Here]

The Angry Birds Main Menu

A lot of folks out there are assuredly sick and tired of hearing — or reading — about Angry Birds. Believe it or not, there are also droves of people who have never even sampled Rovio’s original bird-flinging masterpiece.

But all of that information is neither here nor there, as Angry Birds Space is a relatively different game altogether, albeit littered with the same basic game mechanics and cutesy art style that shot the original Angry Birds title to the top of everyone’s most wanted list.

Don’t be mistaken, Space is the classic Angry Birds at its best, but this time around Rovio has altered enough about the game to warrant the suggestion that it is in a league of its own.

Zap Zap XAPPRoo in True Retro Style

The XAPPR Gun connected to an iPhone

Remember the good ol’ days when you could, you know, shoot things with actual gun peripherals instead of using a couple of sticks?

Well, now you can relive those glory days on your phone, no less, thanks to the XAPPR Gun. The XAPPR is compatible with most mobile devices running Android, Windows Phone or iOS. Heck, the XAPPR even works with iPods too!

The XAPPR Gun operates just like a traditional gaming peripheral, with one catch- it attaches directly to the mobile device of choice but not through a simple port, the phone (or iPod) connects to a cradle seated on the back of the gun. Once connected, players can shoot their way through several “augmented reality” and shooter type games.
